Fall Reflections
With the summer over and the Fall officially here, I'm now in a state of self-reflection and evaluation. What's interesting about this is, this happens to me every year as far back as I can remember. Looking back on 2005, I reflect upon all my experiences, encounters and memories. Within a brief span of time, I've exceeded the number of weekend dance venues I originally planned, made new friends as well gained a dance partner whom all share in the joy and journey of dance, experienced my dance ability move forward in some aspects while moving back on others, and recently performed a group WCS dance routine at my dance studio as well as a local WCS venue. Now looking forward, I have 2 remaining dance venues (Boogie and Swingin NE) to attend with plans to perform once again at Swingin NE with guidance from my instructor and friend, Hazel. This doesn't include the upcoming Mario and Skippy Intensives. Eventhough it's been a financial drain, I have no regrets about it. It's been a blast. Of course for 2006, I really do need to curb some things as well as pursue other aspects of my life that I've put on hold more or less for 2005.
